Electronic invoice
An electronic invoice in a hotel is a tax document issued and received electronically, with the same legal effects as a paper invoice, and serves as proof of delivery of goods or services. Currently, the issuance of an electronic invoice is subject to the recipient's consent. However, according to the Crea y Crece Law approved in the fall of 2022, the mandatory issuance (and receipt) of electronic invoices will become a reality in Spain in the coming years.
