What is it?

The SII, or Immediate Supply of Information, is a VAT management system implemented by the Spanish Tax Agency (Spanish Tax Agency) that requires certain companies to submit their invoice details almost immediately (within a maximum of four business days) through the Spanish Tax Agency's electronic office. For hotels, especially those with an annual turnover of more than €6 million or part of a business group, this means completely digitizing the VAT invoicing and reporting process. Thanks to technological solutions compatible with the SII, such as invoicing systems integrated with their PMS or ERP, hotels can comply with this obligation effortlessly, avoiding penalties and manual errors, and improving the tax traceability of all their operations.
